SOLUTION
The scientific underpinnings course provided eight weeks of vast information in preparation for the doctoral prepared nurse (DNP) to understand and apply research studies related to a national practice problem. The DNP nurse learned how to interpret and translate evidence and results from these research articles into implementation of practices to help reduce that national practice problem.
