Imagine you are writing a letter or email to a leader or policymaker. One healthcare issue of significant concern is nurse burnout. This issue is crucial because it affects not only the well-being of nurses but also the quality of patient care and the overall healthcare system’s efficiency. Nurse burnout can lead to emotional exhaustion, depersonalization, and a reduced sense of personal accomplishment, which, in turn, increases turnover rates, staffing shortages, and medical errors.
