Anthony, a 72-year-old male in room 2, was admitted to the palliative care unit from home this morning, with Dr. Johnson overseeing his care. His daughter, Shelly, is his primary caregiver. At present, Anthony is unresponsive to my questions. Shelly, who mentioned that he is Catholic, requested that I return in a few hours when he might be more comfortable. I informed the nurse and asked to be notified when both the patient and his primary caregiver were ready for my return.
