Reflection on Learning and Readiness

During this course, I have been pulled beyond merely intervening in an attempt to improve patient outcomes. I was challenged to be a leader in initiatives that benefit both patients and the healthcare industry. There is so much involved in the implementation of a change project and understanding the requisite parts improve the likelihood of presenting a successful project. The most interesting aspect of the course for me was the self-evaluation taken during the implicit bias training which suggested I had a bias I had never even considered possible. I have since modified my care to factor in this identified deficit and truly believe I have grown during this course.

 Impact of Transformational Leadership on Contemporary Organizations

Contemporary organizations and transformational leadership align in that they are formed on the basis of being adaptable to change and investing in progress (Afsar & Umrani, 2020; Aunger et al., 2021). Transformational leadership is focused on motivation and team building through emotional intelligence, open communication, motivation and inspiration (Afsar & Umrani, 2020).
